TIME FOR SOME JZX100 ACTION: Andy Gray’s pics

I really like taking photos, but I like drifting too. The one thing that’s pretty much impossible to do though, is combine them both and take a decent panning shot of yourself while you’re drifting.
A whole lot of static photos of the Mark II would be kind of boring, so Andy from Powervehicles recently supplied me with some pics that he took on Ebisu’s Nishi Course and at Nikko Circuit.
This was when I had just installed my Labyrinth Type II knuckles. I took the car to Ebisu for a couple of days to get used to them and set up the front toe.
Yeah, that front bar just has to go, but tyres are a lot more fun to buy.

Nice pics! Unfortunately, and I don’t mean to criticize because to each his own, but I really dig the clean lines of the JZX without the big wing on back.
that angle on the second pic is gangsta. i can’t wait for my 100 chaser down here at yokota, fussa JP to be completely set up for drifting its currently in the works but i must say the 1j engine is lovely specially wit fence pipes =] keep up the good work bro im sure ill run into you at the track sometime wit my gunjin gajin’s lol
poor front bar 😛 surely you of all people could nab a sponser who’d spot you a front bar, come on people send alexi your front bars

Def each to their own but, the car needs work. Its good to see it’s being driven though.

angle on the second pic is nice, but the angle(s) on the curb shot is better – three wheels touching ?

I know you asked if anyone was heading over *soon*, even still I’ll be heading over in 2011 for a month or two and it would be great to get down to a couple of events and take some snaps.

Hey dude i thought you told me you were gonna cut the wing down so it sits on the bootlid. Do that and paint the wing black.

I tried what you were telling me about s13s needing to brake earlier then accelerate earlier, but also trying to get maximum angle as quickly as possible, it didn’t really work for me but practice makes perfect!
in the states, we really don’t that many saloons/sedans making lines like that. almost a pity…

huh! On the last photo it looks like a mean war machine to me. 😀 It looked smoother without the wing, but hey, I never been against them.
