You utter a curseword and try to do something about it with the steering wheel and pedals, then there’s that sound like someone stomping on a really big soda can.
Then, silence.
You look at the other guy, nod in a gentlemen’s agreement and drive back to the pits to inspect the damage.

Hasn’t happened to me…..yet.
I can’t picture that accident. I just don’t know how they could have been drifting and end up hitting each other on the same side… unless they were doing twin donuts?

Ah, the joy of Motor-sport.. expensive machinery that could be destroyed at any moment.

and you just laugh it off
but it does suck. espeiclaly if a friend is at fault by a spin or poor entry or not running deep enough
all in good fun though. its just a car!

isidro – one spun and the other came in with low angle or trying to turn away from the sun car and contacted where the damage is would be my guess

exactly like that. doesn’t look like too much damage.
and two those who couldn’t picture, tandem, lead car spins 180 degrees and slight front tap, same side as cars are facing opposite directions. Happens to the best of us.
Fingers crossed mine makes it through the 3 events next week without damage. 🙂
It’s only the quarter panels, easy as CAKE.
