NEAT: Wagon R on Work VS-KF
May 7, 2009 5:00 pmWhen they were first introduced, the Suzuki Wagon R became explosively popular in Japan, and has remained the best selling car in its class.
When they look at cool as this with a simple set of lowering springs and Work VS-KF wheels, you can see why.
The fact that it’s turbo doesn’t hurt either!

alexi, got another angle for this car? =)
can someone explain why vskfs are so popular im just not a fan of them i think they look like commodore rims and yet they are hugely popular were they used on a famous car or something????
love the kei car tho wouldnt turbo’in it lose its cheap shakken value tho? (probably not the point of this car but just asking)
Its turbo from factory!
VS-KF + low offset = look like anything but a Commodore.
exactly what Warren said!
Being a VS-KF lover and owner of a set I can say that definitely, when you have wide KFs and low offset, you can get some decent lip on there, and that combined with a pretty classic looking 5-spoke design, those rims are pretty much win.
Then again, they do look kinda like the “Torque Thrust” style rims and what not.
Oh well, I love them.
I love those Wagon R’s.
That’s probably the reason the VS-KF’s are so popular. I don’t know how expensive Torque Thrust wheels are in Japan, but if the market for imported wheels is anything like the US, serious cash is required. But i do have to say, I am a touch under-whelmed by them.
I wish that there was a market for Kei-Cars here. I’d love to own one.
Regardless of opinions on the looks, VS-KF are good because they are; available in a massive range of sizes and offsets, very easy to stretch tyres onto (if that is your thing), very strong and not super expensive.
Unfortunately they recently discontinued the 17-inch sizes from what I can tell so that is really sad news as I always wanted some on the front of a Koguchi 180SX replica (I know his car had Blitz Technospeed Z2 but they were discontinued too!)
didnt no they were turbo stock didnt no you could get turbo kei cars stock either lol learn something new everyday
@inche.helmi
It was just a random shot, so no.

Kei cars aren’t worth driving unless they’re turbo!
