Just to compare, here’s a video of me doing the same course in the wet in my R32 practice car. A bit of a difference in speed, isn’t there?

Nikko Circuit’s heavily cambered track edges can make for some fun drifting if you mess around with them. While it’s not something that most drivers normally do, standing near the final corner and egging them on does seem to help a bit. Here’s a few pics from a TGS track day earlier this year.
First up are Funky Racing’s Subleader and Gojappe.

I was out at Ebisu Circuit yesterday shooting some snow drifting with Team Orange’s Naoto Suenaga. For those that know Ebisu, the East, West, and Driftland courses have all been ploughed and graded for snow drifting!

Even though I was working on the Honda Type-R part of this particular Hot Version shoot, that didn’t stop me from having a look at some of the other cars that were there. This 180SX was there for a segment about drifting techniques, hosted by Nobuteru Taniguchi.
