I noticed something odd while walking near my house a little while ago. It was a bit hard to see from the street, but the shape of the rear fender was unmistakable.
After a quick check to see that nobody was at home, I snuck up the driveway for a look.

Today might be April Fools’ Day, but April 1st is the middle of cherry blossom viewing season in Japan!
To get a bit of a headstart on the Tokyo viewing season, which should be best this weekend, I headed down to Yamanashi prefecture a few days ago and visited a couple of scenic locations like Kuonji (久遠寺).

I was shooting a car in a workshop up in Tochigi a while ago when I saw this guy racing up the road.
If a vehicle has three or more wheels in Japan, you generally don’t legally need to wear a helmet.

I received a call the other morning from Yuusuke Kitaoka asking if I’d like to go and watch some of his friends driving at Okegawa Sports Land.
Since his car has no rear seat, and his girlfriend Yuki was coming along too, I had to drive there as well. This wasn’t too much of a problem as far as I’m concerned, and Yuki actually ended up riding in my car anyway because I still have a comfortable factory seat on the passenger’s side.
Yes, his car does actually have registration, if you were wondering.
