STREEEEETCH: Kawashima-san’s Celica, now with less tyre

Remember Kawashima-san’s cambered-out ZZT Celica FF-drifter seen in this post? I ran into him on the way to Ebisu Circuit at an expressway parking area a little while back. He was on his way to an NA-only meeting at Nikko Circuit.
The Celica is running a bit more of an extreme wheel and tyre spec these days though.
Think you’re cool because you can rest a coin or credit card or whatever between the tyre and flange on your set? Well, you’re not running stretched tyres these days unless the bead can’t even sit on the seat. It’s all about riding the drop now.
This is a street and track setup too.

This is some beautiful shit. I love how outrageous this car is, in every single aspect. And the maddest part of all is the fact he drifts and street-drives this thing. He is my hero, regardless of FF or not.

that is pretty ridiculous. i’m not a fan at all, props to guy doing his own thing and being different and building an ff drifter but in my opinion it looks very very spocom/ricey with the addition of absurd and almost laughable fitment.
