DRIVER: Bonzono-san
November 11, 2008 12:30 amIt’s a shame that sometimes how well someone is drifting might not come across in a photo. Sometimes no matter how hard you try, you just can’t get a single frame to reflect how smooth and quick their driving is.
At first glance, Bonzono-san’s car (that’s his internet handle) seems to be a fairly routine Sileighty with projector headlights and kouki tails (which sounds more like “corky”, not “kooky” as some people pronounce it), widebody fenders and a GT wing with the front and rear bars removed. This is a common practice at Nikko Circuit, since even a small trip over the edge of the track will grab and rip off any low-hanging bit of fibreglass.
Possibly because it’s not too overdone in the bodywork, wheel size or smoke department, there just wasn’t really a photo that I felt happy with putting on the website. I was just going to leave them on the computer, but then I found a way to show how aggressively he was driving with just a photo.
Look at those eyebrows.

Nice picture, it really does affect the other 2 shots after looking at his composed expression.
