LOW LOADER: J’s Racing’s double car carrier
October 30, 2009 11:42 amCheck this out. Have you ever seen one of those super-low loaders where the whole tray drops off the back of truck and onto the ground? Perfect for anything low, but those are always single car carriers. What do you do if you need to carry two really low cars with expensive and easily-breakable carbon-fibre front spoilers?
Click and observe.
Here’s how it works. First, you drive up the ramp, which is wound down nice and low.
The ramp is then wound up level with the rest of the flatbed.
You then drive up the back of the flatbed…
…and drop the whole truck down…
…then drive all the way on and strap the car down. No need for removable spoilers or blocks of wood or any of that nonsense. Not bad, eh?

That’s pimp, I need something like that here state side!
Ive always thought of Mr. J’Racing as being a wealthy man… super stuff!
i want one of those
How do they load the top car?
.. oh, thats nasty
thats insane! i’d like to see how they got the first car on
Soooo jealous… 🙁
So how did that Jazz get up there?
Haha, how sick is that…
That is soooo SICK!! AHHHHHHHH EVERYTHING IS COOLER IN JAPAN!!!!! (>.<)
I wish i had one of those last week. What a PITA that was.
doesn’t look cheap 🙂
but def looks handy.
not bad
Is this available on the Elf? I want to match the carrier and the race cars and only need a 3000 pound capacity. That one is probably overkill for my application, but it does look like the deck is lower than what I have seen on this side of the planet.
that is fkn sick!! i wish we had towies like that in aus….
Picture four in the sequence… JAW DROP :-O didn’t expect the whole truck to be jacked up. Pretty neat.
wow, that’s awesome! i’d love to have a flatbed like that. haha i wonder how much it ran them..
that is super convenient…
im still drooling over the s2k though, lol.
j’s racing does it all proper.
Thats pretty cool Alexi!
!!!!!!!!!!
insane! we just use really really long trailers here lol
I want one!
that is really awesome =) wonder how much one of those costs
I need this.
I have to remove my front bar every time i drive my 180 onto my trailer. It still only just gets on without scraping, and thats with blocks under the rear wheels of my tow car!
The tire rack is a good idea too.
woa, that’s looks so cool man ;D
Thats amazing! Certainly a different end of the scale to the dodgy tiny trailer i use here in Australia. Have to change my steer wheels just to fit, and park the rears on blocks. ugh
Handy Tip,- Jack up the draw bar of your trailer to achieve a neat angle for low stuff 🙂
wow does anyone on here know what the transporter is called? thanks, that thing is amazing!!!!!
That would be cool to have in the USA. There are just giant tow trucks here that suck and your aero scrapes all over. This one caters to the cars needs. Perfect partner.
Smooth!!!!!! That is a really well turned out transporter, way better than the trailers im used to seeing at events! Classic
Very trick but a very expensive answer to an easy question. All real race cars should have quick release body work to facilitate service, loading onto a transporter, etc. Track cars should not be TAS show cars. First and foremost track cars should be functional and also be easy to service. Perfect paint and body lines may be great for hard parkers but this kind of nonsense doesn’t fly when you do real battle week in and week out.
Yeah, you obviously don’t know who J’s Racing are.
Both the S2000 and Fit had spent all day being thrashed by Tsuchiya, Orido and Taniguchi within inches of other cars in one-on-one races.
Not exactly “hard parkers”.
you can’t find that kind of truck here in Thailand. lol
now that would make life easy!! is that rear part added on to a normal truck?? or part of the whole system??
and when will they be cheap enough to import to AUS!!!
Awesome FIT, awesome S2000
But,in indonesia, we can’t find that kind of truck too..
WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS OF THE CARRIER?
TURNING RADIUS?
