GETTING HIS MOTORFIX: Midnight Mechanics at YZ Circuit
July 7, 2011 1:15 amA couple of weeks ago, I met up with Grant from Queensland’s Midnight Mechanics and his girlfriend here in Tokyo. About a day later though, he was down in Gifu, visiting a MotorFix track day at YZ Circuit East!
Some of you may be familiar with Grant’s red AE71, so you can probably understand why he made the trip down there to see their new 1uZ-powered Corolla and go for a few rides in it.
Luckily, Grant is pretty handy with a camera too, so click here to read the article on the Midnight Mechanics site.

I really REALLY want to see more of the rusty wagon! I can’t be alone in this…
The wagon is so awesome, I love it so much. I desperately wanted to go for a ride in that on the day too but just seeing it in person was amazing enough!
I wish could have mirrors mounted like that in australia. ..actually i don’t. i’ve tried driving a car like that and they’re useless, but if i ever mount cameras instead of mirrors, that’s where they’re going 😀
and it looks super neat with the bonnet 🙂
man, what a sweet shot! i clicked through to the midnight mechanics blog, that v8 corolla looks like fun
