THESE CRESTAS ARE MAKING ME THIRSTY: Pocari-spec GX71
June 4, 2010 6:26 pmIt seems a lot of you really seemed to like the Yaruki Mate! Cresta drifter from the other day, so I dug this one out of the archives of a drift event at Fuji Speedway from a few years ago.
A nice GX71 with widened steelies, bolt-on overfenders, Hakosuka tail and fake oil cooler finished off in Pocari Sweat blue!
Maniacs might notice that this one is the zenki model with the SOHC 1G-E and seperate quad headlights, rather than the integrated quads seen on the kouki model in the previous post.

Rad. I bet that side-exit sounds hectic!
looking at this picture…..makes me want to convert a a cresta into a ute..it would look amazing
thank you for pleasing us.
I like the exhaust and ancient driver’s seat!
love that side exit exhaust
digging the tan headrest 8)
I like it but that oil cooler it is crazy with the hose sticking out of the car like that!!
sex! more shakotan/boso styled posts and also raty shit haha fucking love it!
I love the taste of Pocari Sweat! It tastes a bit like grapefruit and coke, it looks a bit weird (milk white) and you can even make some of your own with a pack of freeze dried powder!
So in other words: the paintscheme fits this car perfectly! 😉
Yeah I heard 1G-EUs were the way to go
ha
haha
hahaha ha
@Zeb
Yep, it ran like an absolute slug. If only noise equalled performance.
I have wing envy.
Tan is exactly the same color as my USDM MX73, but headrest itself is different.
LMAO, I love the Seinfeld inspired title! Oh, the car’s cool too.
