NOT A DRIFT CAR, DOESN’T MATTER: Looking Sileighty

April 2, 2010 5:18 pm Published by

Kansai has really been on point recently when it comes to styling. This is another customer car of the Looking panel shop from down in Osaka.

So it’s more about show and not about go. So what? Look at that neato 326Power D-Lux aero kit.

The wheels are the G-Corporation Leading Edge W201 in 3D Chrome.

Works pretty well. The square flush look is great.

Tucking under mirror-finish factory fenders.

The LS exhaust tips integrated into the rear bumper are a nice touch too. I have no idea about the umbrella though.

  • Chris M says:

Cool if it weren’t for wheels, reminds me of those Aussie show cars………

  • SoSideways says:

    Those look like 20s.

Cue loud and obnoxious rap music.

  • scott says:

dont mind the wheels, 19/20’s most likely. 326power kit is nice to

  • Henry says:

Very nice; except the wheels. Directional wheels never looked good on anything (IMO). Was the umbrella somehow part of the car or just on the ground?! Haha

Alexi, when are you going to do the competition?

its been almost 2 months now since its been over yet no prizes or announcement of winners?

  • Levon says:

love it! although i’m not a fan of that style of wheel, it does suit the theme they have going.

    I think it looks great!

  • Pete says:

    @Rhys, @Chris M…

The difference is that G-Corporation rims aren’t available from your local Bob Jane and on this car the wheels aren’t sunken…

  • GenJi says:

i really like the bodykit.. but not them rims . . i dont really chorme rims, especially on cars like these

.. but thats just my opinion

  • Jayzedex100 says:

Oh dear, Sydney sex-spec has reached Japan.

  • lil tim says:

    habibs moving to japan

  • Sneaky says:

It’s nice to see a somewhat different approach with a 180sx, i like it. It’s some kind of witchcraft to fit rims like that under those guards and get it that low. (For all you east coast Aussie dudes, you could only dream that the ‘sex-spec’ style conjured up cars that look like this one.)

  • sorry, not feeling the rims, could have been better

  • John says:

I love g-corp, 326, and looking so this car is like a dream come true for me. What looks like wood-grain on the pillars and roof wing is awesome too. Very unique. I don’t have a problem with this being a show car, but that doesn’t mean I won’t fantasize about this thing ditching aero on the track.

  • Rhys says:

    @ pete

Just because the wheels are made in japan and are decent offset does not make them acceptable.

  • Jet81 says:

haha i love the sydney sex spec comments.

  • Frank says:

I’m not a fan of sileightys but this one is very nice.

  • Fury-S12 says:
