YOU’RE DOING IT WRONG: Somebody get the truckMarch 16, 2009 12:38 pm
That was fun.
One of the guys who works at Nikko Circuit said it was the biggest crash he’d ever seen with the least amount of damage.
The broken parts? None. Not one thing.Tags: Nikko Circuit, R32, Skyline

that picture reminds me of when tsuchiya wrecked the black hks s15. glad to hear nothing was damaged.
Is that the same bank Tsuchiya crashed the HKS s15 into?
How did you manage that,
Also, rad site!
What happened??! Look at you all stranded in the middle of nowhere!
UNDA UNDA UNDA!
glad nothings broken mate
lucky……………. it looks like the only thing that is damage is your pride
How the fuck did that happen?
you drifted into a ditch lol! double d A+++
is there a video?
im glad to see im not the only drift video freak on here, i was goin to mention it looks like the ditch keichi ended up in
pretty lucky nothing broke too and you already had some hammering to do so anymore is no worries 😛
How many times do we have to remind you that the GTS-t is RWD, not AWD! 😀
It doesn’t even look like there is a track within a million miles if you take that photo at face value. Nice parking.
Looks like u went on a 4wd mission and forgot u only had rear wheel drive! Is there a drift track here somewhere?
how the hell did you manage that?
ahah awesome. good to hear that nothing was broken!
One of the fun things to do at Nikko is lift a wheel on the corners, like on this video at 0:15 –> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UsYtDfLtvrA
Now, here’s the video p.haire and Fury-S12 are talking about –> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqdkxy4dnH0
The right tie-rod broke on Tsuchiya’s car when he hit the inner ripple strip, which spat him off to the left.
Roughly the same thing happened to me, but a bit earlier. If you watch the shot that starts at 1:22, you can see a ripple strip and a bunch of stripes on the bottom of screen.
I ran wide on that corner and dropped a wheel down that slope. As the car came back up the slope, the ripple strip caught the rear wheels and straightened me out, sending me about thirty metres into the mud.
They have recently resurfaced a lot of the track at Nikko, which included flattening out some of the track edges, and making the ripple strips much smaller. This means doing silly stuff seems a bit less difficult now, but isn’t any less risky.
Ahhh k, i was there last week and the track surface looks fantastic, even made some of the corners quite a bit wider. Good to see it was done with just cause, even at Honjyo i try my hardest to dig out the drop off zones on the side of corners so i can 3 wheel chassie grind them.
No one got any video off you doing the 3 wheeler?
atleast nothing broke
before i read your explanation, alexi, i thought you were distracted by a random girl at the track and just didnt keep your eyes on the road lol
eaaasy, you’ll write that thing off before summer if your not careful.
still waiting for some feature style pics of the car; interior, engine etc….
Ever seen a stock GTS-t engine bay and interior?
haha seriously looks like the middle of nowhere! luckily the ole stocko 32 is ok hahah~
oh maybe its just me but the videos here (and of u going around the track by yourself) dont seem to be working.. maybe its youtubes problem?
yeah, I just wanna see how gutter-spec it is ; )
OOOPS that looks worse than it obviously was
That looks like something I would do.
am i the only one who’s noticed that tsuchiya’s head almost fell off when he crashed?
