THE THINGS I DO: D1 Fairlady ride-alongMarch 30, 2009 12:30 am
I rode in this car. Watch the video.
This Z32 belongs to Satoru Koyama of Power’s Factory in Sendai, just a bit further north of where Ebisu Circuit is located.
I asked him why he drifted a Z32, when they were not a very common car to use for drifting.
He said “My dad had one when I was younger, and I thought how good it would be to see one of these drift, because they’re pretty cool. Now all the Z32 people in Japan recognise me as the guy who drifts them.”
VG30s make things happen.
Thanks Mark Pakula for pointing out that race gloves are great for cold weather photography. Considering it was about 3-4 degrees all day, my unchapped knuckles thank you.Tags: 300ZX, Ebisu Circuit, Fairlady, Nissan, Satoru Koyama

Wow! I bet that would of been an experience!
Oh heck yes! I love the Z32! So to see somebody actually drifting one rock my socks right off. Even better, there’s evidence right on the car that proves that it used! Cracked front right bumper. Wonderful!
Awesome stuff man, sweet to see a Z32 in use like that.
Is that you on the right or the left?
this car is my inspiration and hope that people will build sweet z32s. but it never happens

Pretty fast eh? Oh well, there you go.
I still can’t believe Mr Sileightymania reads my site.
It sure looks like one.
Satoru was a bit of a rugby player compared to an average Japanese guy.
I thought you might like this post! Now that I’m here, I’ll keep an eye out for something for you.
The hair? Well, everyone says I look more like a proper gaijin now. 😀
When they do the passenger rides, I’ve been told that the drivers only go at 60%. It was still pretty fast though, and good inspiration for the next time I take the Skyline to minami course.
You are living in a dream,do you know that??
Whoa! A cool looking Z32 that drifts, that rad!
It would be cool to see some nice styled 300zx in the states, most look so horrible or stock.
This car has been the inspiration for my own Z32 ever since I found it a couple of years ago.
Awesome to see him getting some more exposure.
of course i read your site! it’s awesome!
