2 CommentsI noticed something odd while walking near my house a little while ago. It was a bit hard to see from the street, but the shape of the rear fender was unmistakable.
After a quick check to see that nobody was at home, I snuck up the driveway for a look.
24 CommentsOnce again, just like last year (part one here and part two here), I turned up right at the end of the day when everyone was leaving.
I suppose you want an excuse? Well, I had a very big Friday night which led into a very big Saturday night which finally ended at a club at 6:00AM on the Sunday morning of the show. The club is actually only about fifteen minutes by train from the Odaiba parking lot, but I didn’t have my equipment on me, and I also really needed some sleep and a change of clothes. If it’s any consolation, I had a great time, thanks.
Enjoy the pics I did actually take.
29 CommentsA couple of days ago, some rotary freaks from Belgium sent me an email asking for information about this Mazda Famila, with a photo taken by Ben from Japanese Nostalgic Car attached to it.
“Didn’t I already post a few pics of that car already?” I thought.
Sure enough, I’d posted about the Euro and American cars at the 2009 Time Machine Festival, and I’d definitely posted about the Fairladys that were there, as well as a put up a panorama photo of the meeting, but I’d completely forgotten to upload the rest of the photos I took!
So, here they are!
16 CommentsSomeone sent me an email a little while ago asking for a website where he could buy an old Japanese car.
This would be one: http://www.bikoworks.jp/
14 CommentsHere’s a one-shot of a Hakosuka’s tough profile for my buddy Kevin over at Japanese Nostalgic Car blog, who has been having a bit of the hate part of the love/hate relationship with his own Hako at the moment.
16 CommentsSomething slightly different for today’s first pic, a Japan four-door with a chokkan muffler, which translates into English literally as “straight pipe”.
13 CommentsYellow Zeds sure do look good.
12 CommentsYeah, I want one too.
The Nostalgic2Days show, put on by Nostalgic Hero magazine at the Pacifico Yokohama expo hall complex was a neck-snapping display of classic Japanese steel.
