FOUR DOOR ON THE FLOOR: 396 Ishiai’s Cresta at Nikko
29-08-2011 2:09 amYesterday, I had the choice of either going to an MSC event at Honjo, or Otoko No Yonmai at Nikko Circuit.
Guess where I went.

11 CommentsHere’s yet another video to look forward to from Hoon Media’s Mark Boxer. Have you ever wondered what it might be like to own and drive a Hakosuka outside of Japan? Here’s a guy who has done it!
While you’re here, do us a favour and visit the Motorex video competition page and click “like” on the video Boxer made for the event. If he wins first place, he’s promised that the prize will be put towards coming back to Japan and making more videos like the ones of the 1JZ Meeting!
5 CommentsRemember back in this post that seemed to show that white JZXs are over-represented in police chases in Japan? Well here’s another one from the TV show “Police 24 Hours”, which is sort of like “Cops”.
In this one, a stolen JZX90 Cresta, white of course, leads the police on a chase into the mountains.
3 CommentsSomeone said something about “Not enough Cefiros!” a while ago. How’s this one, belonging to Fumi-san from Nexus?
5 Comments“The Sliders” sub-team “Shirasaka Corps” has gone with a very distinct theme for their drift cars. Matte-black kyusha wheels, and NA engines. This is team member Satou’s S14 zenki.
13 CommentsMitsubishi is now my favourite manufacturer, that being the maker of the air conditioner we have at the house. Japan is bloody hot right now!
This weekend is the Ebisu Circuit Summer Drift Matsuri. The trackside cameras should be working, so click this link and see what you can see. I’ll post a few “Noriyaro Mobile” pics on the Facebook page during the event as well.
Since I don’t have any new content yet, here’s a video of Scorch Racing’s “Under” Suzuki doing his best 1:31.4560 run. That would have given him second place in 2010, but still scored him a respectable fifth place this year. 新しい写真はないから、アンダー鈴木さんのワールド・タイム・アッタックの1:31.4560車載カメラビデオを見てください。

Well, the WTAC in Sydney was a very enjoyable event. I handed out more than a hundred stickers over three days, so thanks to everyone who came up to ask for one, and sorry for the ones who missed out!
As for this week, it’s back to Japan, which means more new posts. Drift Matsuri is on this weekend!
6 CommentsI was out at Eastern Creek Raceway today to see the preliminary practice day for the World Time Attack Challenge, and it’s looking to be be an incredibly enjoyable event for all the spectators who come along to watch. I’ve never seen such a large amount of dry carbon fibre in one place before. I’d also say it’s worth coming just to hear Mad Mike’s 26B-powered RX-7 with your own ears.
I’ll also be out there for the next two days working yet again with Hoon Media’s Mark Boxer on the official Yokohama Advan videos, so if you do happen to come along and spot me in the pits somewhere, pull me up and mention the website to score yourself two free Noriyaro vinyl stickers. I only have as many as I can fit in my pocket, so don’t be afraid to ask early in case you miss out!
