A better translation of his sticker is “Crash King”, but I like my version. I caught up with old-school D1GP driver Dart Izumi Jr at a recent Kids Heart day at Motorland Mikawa. He had an old Laurel that had been sitting somewhere for about three years that had only been started up the day before. What better way to revive an oil-drained engine than going drifting with it?
Remember ZA★SLIDERS team member Takahashi’s neat little NA S13 Silvia from this post? Unfortunately, he had a bit of an engine fire a while ago which has temporarily put the car out of commission. In the meantime though, he’s replaced it with this C33 Laurel.
Kumakubo was out again today on Higashi Course at Ebisu Circuit. He was doing some more testing to the engine settings of the nitrous-assisted RB26 in the new Team Orange Laurel.
