EAST VS WEST: Battle of directors, Laputka and Kuzmichev
January 18, 2012 12:27 pmLet’s revisit one of the greatest political rivalries this world has ever seen. The United States of America vs The Russian Federation. However, instead of intercontinental ballistic missiles, let’s instead make use of Nissan missiles!
First, we have a collection of bearded and unbearded gentlemen, the “Bloodmasters”, in New Jersey, directed by Andy Laputka.
Next, we have Tvardovskiy and Felix from the Evil Empire drifting team, directed by Alexander Kuzmichev from Санкт-Петербург.
Well, what did you think? Who wins this one?
In the spirit of friendship, let’s end it with seeing Felix travel to Japan and enter (and win) the G1GP at Ebisu Circuit.
I love the bit where he explains why he was listening to Tchaikovski during the battles.

bloodmasters win! so fucking awesome! they’re insane!
Феликсу респект!!!!!!
I liked the raw street feel of the bloodmasters and Laputka. I liked the beauty inspired drift of Kuzmichev.
Laputka for the win – reminds me of the early versions of drift tengoku.
BloodMasters was more entertaining. Although, I liked both videos but the Gymkhana’ish antics of the BloodMasters was more exciting and fun…. They need to desperately get rid of that stupid Heavy Metal music.
Супер поездка и отличный фильм. Феликс – the best!
