MILK TEA PHOENIX: Jesse Streeter’s S13 is back

June 17, 2010 1:28 am Published by

Some of you may be familiar with Jesse Streeter’s gutter-scraping S13 Silvia.

Some of you may also recall that it had an unfortunate meeting with a wall at Ebisu Circuit which left the front end geometry in what could be described as the shape of a rounded parallelogram.

It’s back!

Jesse has re-shelled all of his parts into a nice clean body, and recently took it out to Suzuka to start working all the bugs out of it.

The aero is a T.R.A Kyoto 6666 Customs kit in a custom version of Suzuki beige. Some of the locals say that it reminds them of a Desert Zaku, for those who are familiar with Gundam.

In the background, you can see Jesse’s Daihatsu Every turbo wagon painted to match, with a DAMD Loco Boy Type II face conversion.

The wheels are Work Goocars in 17×9 +0 on the front and 17×10 -22 on the back, with no spacers!

I think we might be seeing the start of a new trend in wheels.

Here’s Jesse taking it out for the first time at Suzuka Twin.

As expected, it didn’t take him long to get the hang of it…

…and become good friends with the wall again.

Of course, he tells me that there’s still about a million little things still to be fixed, but it’s good to see him out again after such a long time!

^^thats the new house. car is a bit higher than Id like. At the moment goes up and down those ramps and nothing touches (gutter is not very tall). Will lower until it just scrapes going in/out of the garage.

Mmmm… Mexi-poke. The car’s looking better than ever! and the rims, oh man the rims. Also lols at the Zaku reference, maybe he should get a single red circular light in the middle of the grille :)

  • BiddleSauce says:

With RB aero, i can’t imagine he’ll be thrashin’ walls anytime soon. Car looks soooo fucking tits.

  • sidewaysalways says:

hey alex can ya make the first 3 pics and ;ast 3 pics into bigger sizes so we could use it as back grounds…sheers ow and wish my s13 was as good as that…

  • Rob_180sx says:

Wow, he finally fixed it! It has been like 10 months!

I’m a big fan of that kit. Too bad he doesn’t run spacers anymore :P He gave a lot of people, with terrible offset wheels, hope. Him and his 20mm spacer on top of his 40mm spacer :o

  • lachlan says:

    OMGOMGOMGOMG

my life now feels complete again

  • Mmmm… Mexi-poke.

^^yeah I went with the same offset as the 17 x 11s I have but foolishly didnt calculate in the extra pull 11″ have with the extra 1″ inboard so they came out a little futher than I wanted. :(

will run 235 40s and see if the little extra stretch fixes the fitment. Also dying to lower it more but have to be able to drive it to and from the track/mountains with out leaving bits of my front bar along the highway so will see how much lower I can get it.

  • Nama says:

The color is the same as the Samurai personal FC3S.
Its great and those Tra Kyoto bumpers fits great.

  • Fury-S12 says:

glad you kept with the s13 man dnt see enuf of them sideways these days…not here anyway

being a fan of gundam i can how they draw the desert zaku look too

very sweet over all now all we need is some more phat sliggity quality vids of it and we are set for sweet drift time wastage for another short while

  • Ashthestampede says:

What rear spoiler is that? I’ve seen it on a couple s13′s but can never seem to figure out who makes it.

HAHA great to see ya back out there and not afraid to bend such a mint car!!

  • DriftSquid says:

Good to see your back Jesse… its been too long

  • Guardian-X- says:

Not a big fan fan of the colour but it does look bad-ass ^^

The exit of the garage is indeed a tight spot :p ( maybe a small video to show how on earth you get out of there without destroying the front end ? :p )

  • macey says:

oooooooohh jesse. the cat is out of the bag and its all over the intersweb. looks the good and i must say the stickers look great :D is that a club outrun sticker on the rear window too??

    -macey

  • düb says:

bad-ass motor there chum, any pics of the cool garage in the first pic?

^^the house is actually a triangle so it drives pretty much straight out of the garage door like that. Cause its on so much an angle to the road only one rim has to go up a ramp at a time. You can kind of see the approach it needs to take by the angle if the interior wall compared to the road. Pretty confident I can go lower with out scraping out onto the street, if it scrapes Ill get longer ramps :P

^^that one is a dmax spoiler but there are a bunch of companies that do stuff really similar.

  • pirate chris says:

i loved the old s13 so much i made a replica on forza 3. even repped his site. saw this post ten minutes later and id recreated it again. mad respect.

  • tubkeZ says:

Damn nice PS13 but I prefer old style :P

  • Dapip says:

Nice color, looks unique and clean without any stickers on…

  • T-Bone says:

i wanna know how the hell he gets it down from that carpark in the 1st pic

  • brent says:

it looked so much better before to me.

  • James says:

That colour would be sooo awesome on a desert track… Maybe a trip to America Jesse? Good to see the rocket, saw the old one get smashed up, nasty stuff. Love the tape work on the taillights, might do that to my S13 with some pinstriping.

Keep up the good work! Any new vids about?

^^yeah I was stuck in the early 2000′s for a while with the uras aero and VSKFs but when I did the reshell I thought I would do something that made the car a little unique. It will be all smashed and ugly soon enough, if thats what you found appealing about the old car ;)

  • brent says:

i love the aero. i’m all for being unique. how do you feel about sexy style + koguchi fenders?

  • Manny says:

I hope you didn’t paint this one with a broom :p

ahhh the memories of a 120Y come flooding back LOL

    ^^looks are always subjective…

    http://img217.imageshack.us/i/0e367345yz8.jpg/

^^looks pretty similar to the Uras aero I was using 10 years ago to me?

the fenders are ok but to fill them I would need even wider/lower offset rims as they are +70mm rear and +50mm front… too wide for what I want.

  • brent says:

yea, it is an older style. thats what i like about it.

the only new aero i like is uras gt. and i only like it on the s13. i think that one gives the car a whole new look and it works.

  • Robert Nori says:

man seeing other nice as f**k silvias makes me wana cry after a drunk driver kill mine :(
