FOUR DOOR WAITING: JZXs at Umihotaru
February 8, 2010 10:20 pmSome of you have been asking if I have picked winners for January’s competitions yet. I haven’t picked the exact winners yet, but I’ll announce it on here when I do.
In the meantime, here’s some pics of a bunch of JZX owners who met up at the Tokyo Aqualine Umihotaru parking area recently.
The fatness of BN Sports kits are well-suited to the size of the JZX.
These were a bunch of guys and girls who had come from all over nearby Japan to meet up before going to the Tokyo Auto Salon on Sunday. They had planned to get to the Makuhari Messe parking lot early that morning and sleep in their cars to avoid the hellish congestion around the exhibition center and long walk through the cold parking lot.
Before they did that though, they all met up at the Umihotaru parking area in the middle of Tokyo Bay. As you can see, a couple of them were drifters too. Spot the little stuffed duckie in the broken bumper.
“Margin” is the word they use to describe a safety run-off area. A touge road is generally described as “no margin” for example.
No drift, no life man!
…and no money.
Yeah, I can relate to that.

Rpf1’s are an awesome wheel.
Look good on the first car.
i think we can all relate to that especially those of us living the uni life …. 🙁
cool shots man
ditto on the lack of money 🙁
will I see you at spring matsuri?
I like that No!Marjin sticker. That statement reminds me that I am a part of the drift scene. It’s o.k. to be broke, if you spent it all on tires 😛
Groovy stuff Alexi! I like the little duck pokin its head out, that’s so funny.
Hey Alexi i got an S13 across the pond in the states and i was just wondering if you could send me or post some pictures of the sickest S13’s you’ve seen over there I need some ideas for mine.
Thanks,
Cody F.
obviously I’d like to see more pictures from that meeting, but these are cool enough to make my day
🙂
You have the internet at your disposal and you can’t find good examples of one of the most common drift cars?
