WEEKEND EDITION: 25th January 2009
January 25, 2009 11:00 pmToday was interesting. The Japan Classic Car Association show was on today at Odaiba, but I didn’t make it there until about ten minutes before it closed.
Why? I had a very interesting interview for a foreign magazine lined up today. The photo should give you a bit of a clue as to who it was.
I still managed to take a few photos at the JCCA show though, and they will be posted up very soon. What I actually did manage to capture will have you all cursing me for not turning up earlier, I guarantee. Wait until you see some of the cars and the haircuts of their owners.
One other thing that’s interesting is that I’m getting a very high readership from Finland of all places, so tervetuloa, minun suomalaiset ystäväni.

haluasin tyttot ja kaljaa!
Uh, The Stig? Hahaha, OK, Daijiro Inada.
Dai-chan???
Haha, its actually “Tervetuloa, minun suomalaiset ystäväni.”
Obviously, I don’t speak Finnish. 🙂
Corrected.
Finland seems to have quite a big drift/japanese car scene, loads of high spec cars in the uk get bought by fins and shipped over there. IIRC kazama’s old s15 and miki’s gold top secret s15 ended up there too!
Finland is cool!!!
I had a Finnish girlfriend once, her sweat smelt like strawberries!
Why do fins always speak such perfect English?
I’ve met so many who are so fluent after only 2 odd years of living abroad.
Must be smart cookies.
the dudesons rock!
Fins speak and write pretty fluent english, because they start studying it in the primary school 😉 They can speak swedish too, because finland is bilingual country. Actually Kazama’s and Miki’s cars went to Norway.
